So. AZ Go Live!

On January 13th Southern Arizona went live ordering non-capital supplies from four newly added suppliers.  Fastenal, Wesco, White Cap, & Office Depot have all been added to Coupa for purchasing all nationally contracted items as well as FULL punch out catalogs!

What is punch out!?  Punch out is a technology that allows users the ability to temporarily leave the Coupa website, shop on the suppliers website, and then bring your order back into Coupa to submit for approval.  Pretty neat right!?  This allows users the ability to find EXACTLY what they are looking for while still running our spend through Coupa.

The warehouse manager, Ernie Valencia, plans to steadily increase the amount of orders he places through Coupa as he becomes more comfortable with the system.  Ernie is taking the foreman order requests forms, individually entering them in Coupa, and confirming he as received the goods.  Once the supplier submits the electronic invoice a three way match will occur.

What is a three way match?!  A three way match is when the Purchase Order (Quantity & Price), Invoice (Quantity & Price), and Goods Receipt (Quantity) all match.  After all three of these successfully match the payment information is transferred to SAP to complete the final payment to the supplier.
